Adventure tour in Cusco

The Apurímac River "El Dios que habla" is one of the best rivers in the world for canoeing, since it has the right conditions for practicing this sport, such as: Excellent climate, Strong rapids followed by flat water (For the security), beautiful sandy beaches for camps, inhospitable and isolated place of civilization.

Itinerary
We will have a meeting with our passengers, to give them an informative talk about the trip one night before the departure of the tour.

Day 1: CUSCO - RIO APURIMAC
9:00 am. Departure from Cusco, to the Huallpachaca bridge (2,000 masl) 5 hours south of the city of Cusco, after lunch, our guide will give the safety instructions (How to paddle, how to use the equipment, etc.) and also we will have a small rescue practice in the river, after this, we will start to sail, for 1 hour and ½ approximately, then we will camp on the banks of the river.

Day 2: RIO APURIMAC
After breakfast, we will set up camp, to start navigating class III and IV rapids stopping only for portages, which are class IV rapids. After lunch, we will continue sailing until the afternoon (4:30 pm), when we will stop to camp.

Day 3: RIO APURIMAC - Cusco
After breakfast we will continue rafting, running class III, IV and V rapids after 5 hours of navigation, we will arrive at Quinta Primavera (near the Kunyak bridge) which is where we will finish our adventure, we will have lunch there, and then start our return trip to Cusco.

Nota: Los rápidos se catalogan de la siguiente manera:

Difficulty I-II Easy without risk, something exciting.
Difficulty III-IV Good and Exciting, with some risk.
Difficulty V Very exciting and risky.
Difficulty VI Extreme risk, do not run.

• Sleeping bag, mat and lantern
• Bottle of water and snacks.
• Personal things must be in plastic bags.
