Itinerary: from 6:00am the first day to 10:00pm the 4th day

Day 1: Cusco / Abra Malaga / Santa Maria (L) (D)
We leave from Cusco at 7:30am in a private bus until we get to Puerto Malaga, from where we begin our bicycle tour to Santa Maria. Along the way we see the archeological sites of Huamanmarca and Inca Carcel, along with constantly changing scenery. The itinerary is 5 hours on bicycles and a very impressionable journey through the jungle to appreciate the birds, medicinal plants, and exotic fruits such as mango, pineapple, papaya, avocado, coffee, chocolate, all of which you can purchase and enjoy. We eventually eat dinner and camp.

Day 2: Santa Maria / Santa Teresa (B) (L) (D)
We eat breakfast at 6:00am and then begin hiking to the shores of the Vilcanotariver, about 2 kilometers. From San Pablo, we raft to Inca Carcel. Along the way you can appreciate the waterfalls and archeological sites, and we have time to visit the hot springs where you can enjoy a warm bath. We eat lunch in Inca Carcel and then eat dinner and camp.

Day 3: Santa Teresa / AguasCalientes (B) (L) (D)
We eat breakfast at 6:30am and then begin hiking at 7:30am. We pass by and visit the waterfalls of Mandor el Camino. It is all flat for 5 hours of hiking, but we can se the mountains of San Miguel and Putucusi. This day you can see the silhouette of the ruins of Machu Piccho. We eat lunch in Mandor and then continue hiking to Aguas Calientes, where we eat dinner and stay in a hotel.

Day 4: AguasCalientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco (B)
We get up very early to eat breakfast in the hotel and then hike an hour and a half up to Machu Picchu. There is a guided tour of the ruins of about 2.5 hours. After the tour you have time to explore the ruins on your own and possibly climb Huayna Picchu. We begin the journey back to Cusco at about 4pm.

Note: The rafting service is not included, but you can do so on the 1st and second days, to be coordinated among the group. The cost is $30.00 US.
